Close to 200 racers and their family, friends and fans and attended the 2011 Fiesta City Speedway banquet at the VFW on Sat. Jan. 7, 2012

Several of the track champions thanked their many sponsors along with track officials for running a smooth show night after night and especially thanked John VandenBrink for keeping the race surface in top notch condition through out the year.

Fiesta City Speedway plans on another 16 week season for 2012, making this 52 years racing at the Chippewa County Fairgrounds. The first night of racing will be Friday May 11 starting at 7:00 with hot laps at 6:30. There will also be a test and tune night on Fri. May 4 and this is open to the public free of charge.

Fiesta City will again be featuring Fiesta City Pure Stocks, Wissota Street Stocks, Wissota Mod 4, Wissota Super Stock, Wissota Midwest Modified and Wissota Late Model classes. Plans are also to have the “Big” mods back for an evening in addition to the regular race show.
